Today we remember…
Between April 2019 - November 2020 LSF created an online virtual memorial to all of those who were lost to Sligo during the Great War 1914-1918.
Posts were made on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on each day of the year that we had confirmed records of Sligo fatalities, during each year of the war. We used archive images from the conflict to help depict what life was like for those who were immediately engaged in it.

We will leave the Page as a permanent on-line LSF memorial. We think it is the only one of its type and hope it is a fitting digital tribute to those we have lost.
