Today we remember those from Sligo who died on July 19th during The Great War 1914 - 1918.

• 1916: Edward McGloin, Castlegal, Cliffoney, Co.Sligo

• 1918: Daniel J. O’Connor, Grange, Co.Sligo & New York

Edward will be remembered under Castelgal and Daniel will be named under Sligo on the eight sentinel stones of the County Sligo Great War Memorial Garden.
