Today we remember those from Sligo who died on March 24th during the five years of the Great War 1914 - 1918.

• 1918: William Kee, Sligo Grammar School & Donegal

• 1918: James McLoughlin, Ballymote, Sligo & Glasgow

William will be remembered under Sligo Grammar School with James named for Ballymote on the eight sentinel stones of the County Sligo Great War Memorial Garden.
