Today we remember those from Sligo who died on August 31st during The Great War 1914 - 1918.

• 1916: David Adams Sligo and Derry

• 1918: James Harte, Templeboy, Co.Sligo

• 1918: Charles Maloney, Dromard, Co.Sligo and New York

David will be named for Sligo Borough, James will be remembered under Templeboy and Charles will be named under Dromard on the eight sentinel stones of the County Sligo Great War Memorial Garden.
